I’m a first time mom and looking for advice on the best bassinet to put on my registry. Thank you!

Halo is my top recommendation and what I used for my own babies. I love the aesthetic of the Snoo and some families swear by it, but as a sleep consultant, I see all the families that have a tough time transitioning out of the Snoo

I used the Snoo for my first and it was a lifesaver, but didn't need it at all with my second. The jury is out on whether that's because I was just a more relaxed mom the second time. But my gut says it's not 100% necessary. If I could do my time again I would probably go for something more simple, but still attractive like the Snuzpod side sleeper, Maxi-Cosi, Design Dua or TrueBliss.

Halo worked fine for us - and it's pretty easy to find a mom who wants to get rid of theirs cheap! They're used for such a short amount of time so condition is usually good!

We used the Halo, but honestly not for long until moving to crib. There are a lot of cheaper bassinets these days that would work just the same!

We used the Halo for a week or two but transferred him to the crib in his own room after that. It was early but it worked for us.

We used the Nuna Mixx! It was fantastic as a bassinet. We ended up returning our Snoo because we did not need all the features. Loved that I could also take it for walks.
