Massages are always a great (and well deserved) gift for a hard working mama!

I love Etsy for more personalized gifts IF I remember to plan ahead. It doesn’t have to be extravagant or expensive…pretty kitchen towels, a personalized ornament for this time of year. Other ideas for last min - good local coffee, nice wine

I agree with the posts above- sometimes simple is best- just a message of what an awesome person they are and a gift card to a place you know they love or could use ❤️

Carrie Shannon is a local artist in Austin. She has great little gifts to stock up on and to keep in your gift closet for when needed. I love that it supports a local mom/small business. Plus it's a unique gift. I've gifted them and also been gifted. Maybe check a local artist in your area.
Styro cups with a saying that reminds me of her. Of course candles. Someone gave me an indoor plant that I really enjoyed. Paying for a pre pickup happy hour to get to spend time with her and pick up the tab.
I agree that it's really more about the thought and less about the thing-as long as it doesn't add to the clutter of the house ha

I recently celebrated a bday and one of my fav gifts was a larger gift card that was pulled from all my friends/guests for me to spend on a nice item. I also think while gift cards may feel "impersonal" they allow the bday gal to buy what they want. Also, one of my fav ways to celebrate a friend is to have one on one time, so a breakfast or lunch date with the tab on you.

An experience! A mahjong lesson with friends, cooking class, spa day, tickets to a show ( ballet, etc)

Someone recently bought me personalized stationary and it was such a little luxury that I’d never buy for myself!

I realize that this has to be for the “right” friend. But one of my girlfriends got me this portable label maker and I’m actually in love with it and it brings me a lot of joy haha.

I love trying to shop local or get them a gift card to a local boutique. Or mani/pedi/massage. We all want that, right?!
