We’re looking to hire a night nurse for the birth of our third baby but have never used one before. We feel set on the nurse we’ve found, but I’m curious what the rate should be hourly, how many times you thought you needed one in the beginning (1-6 weeks), any questions we should ask prior to her starting, and just any tips for working alongside one.
My 1 year old screams and cries like he is in pain when he poops. This started around 12 months. I have tried Prune juice, adding fiber, flax seed and probiotics. Any suggestions to ease my baby with his bm’s? Thank you!
Any tips for an almost 3 year old who is chronically constipated?? It’s hindering our potty training journey and I need solutions!!! I also feel bad for her as nothing really works and I don’t want to load her up on miralax all the time.
Hi!
All of my kids friends have electric scooters and some have the bikes too. I have been scared to purchase anything electric with all the horror stories out there. Is there a way to make these safe somehow??
Send all the tips and advice please!
I've never really known what normal protocol looks like. Occasionally I have ordered a pizza or something, but does anyone have a standard practice on this?
My 5 year old is still walking on his toes. I have always watched carefully he is meeting mile stones and possible signs for autism. My son is very social and active. Any suggestions? Thank you!
Hi! I can tell my kids are all seeking attention from me. Which honestly is exhausting but I know is important.
I'm looking for ideas on how to fill their emotional buckets that are also enjoyable for me. I do not like imaginary play...eeek.
Favorite board games, outside games, crafts, date ideas? Hoping to take advantage of this during Summer months.
I have the worst time falling asleep at night and have tried melatonin and even supplements like magnesium but nothing seems to help. I either can't fall asleep or I wake up every few hours. If you have any tips or tricks please let me know!!
Has anyone read "The Anxious Generation" and if so, have you thought about holding smartphones from your kids til' 16? Tough topic, I know, but he talks about parents creating this community where it's more of a norm for a kid NOT to have a phone! Super interested to hear?
Hi!
I am flying with my 14 month old next week. He is a very busy bee and doesn’t like to stay seated Any tips on how to make a 2 hour flight go smoothly?
Planned the flight during his normal morning nap time but he’s now started boycotting naps so not feeling confident he’ll sleep.
I’d really prefer to not break out the iPad/ shows if possible.
My 2 year old has to get a tooth extraction soon. Anyone have any experience with this or ideas on how to talk/ prepare them for this procedure?
Much appreciated!!
Hii! Looking for suggestions on the best books you read with your toddler to prepare them for a new baby AND the best books you/your partner read on how to prepare your toddler for the transition. Thanks in advance!
My 5 year old is a big mouth breather. Some during the day and always at night. His upper teeth are starting to get crowded and he is getting a gummy smile. I have read these can be caused by mouth breathing. I have tried mouth tape but it doesn’t stay all night. The dentist didn’t see a tounge or lip tie. If you live in austin and have suggestions of a dentist or doctor who has helped you please let me know!
This may sound silly, but I'm looking to buy reusalbe Birthday decorations for my kids b-days. Do you have any favorites you like? I don't want it to be a cluster or tangled up every time I put it away in a box (lol). I want some fun decor to be able to easily pull out every time. OR - any b-day traditions you like to do every year? Like a specical plate or decor. Would love all the ideas!
